Too many bunnies at Long Beach City College

January 27th, 2009, 12:04 pm · Post a Comment · posted by Marla Jo Fisher, Staff Writer

You may remember that they had problems last year at Cal State Long Beach with coyotes who were eating the feral catss.

Well, someone should tell the coyotes over at Long Beach State that only two miles away, there appears to be a smorgasbord awaiting.

Yes, apparently there are so many wild bunnies at Long Beach City College, “big fat brazen ones that will run up to strangers and beg for food”, that according to this blogger at Unhip LA, they create something of a nuisance.

One person who commented on the blog said these all appear to be domestic bunnies that have been dumped there.

Well, Beatrix Potter would have had Farmer McGregor get in there with his pitchfork and chase all those Peter Rabbits away.
